Clubs and Classes:
Applique Bee: For those of you who love to hand applique, come and join with Mary Jane Ferguson to applique your hearts out. 2nd Wednesday of each month, May 9, June 13, July 11, August 8, 7-10pm. $5/meeting.
Machine Embroidery Club: Meet with Judy Wilson on the fourth Tuesday of each month to learn great new ideas for machine embroidery with your sewing machine. This club is for beginners to intermediates. Learn how to use different software to obtain and achieve incredible embroidery. Learn different ideas for projects from quilting to home decor and wearables. Judy is overflowing with ideas and her work is gorgeous. You do not have to have a Janome machine to join this club. You don't even have to have an embroider machine. Maybe you would just like to see what can be done. Come get and share ideas. You will love it. Tuesday, May 22, June 26, July 24, August 28.
Sewing Club: This club is for those of you who would like to learn new ideas for sewing. Jodi will introduce lots of ideas for wearables, home decor, and even quilts. This club will meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month. $5/meeting.
Thimbleberries with a Twist Club: This club is so much fun. We use Thimbleberries patterns and create them with Thimbleberries fabrics or beautiful bright and batik fabrics. It's your choice. Join us. The patterns are available to club members only and they are gorgeous!!! Come join us Saturday, May 26, June 23, July 21, August 25, 10-12:00 noon.
Beginner Basics by Hand (A Sampler): This is the place to begin of you want to learn the basics and you would enjoy piecing your quit by hand. Choose to make a wall hanging, a lap quit, or any size bed quilt. On the first night of each class we will choose fabrics and you will receive a 15% discount. Machine Quilting: Have you been wanting to learn this beautiful technique of finishing your quilt? Machine quilting has become a work of art, and Sharon can show you how ot make it happen without the puckers and shifting that frustrate us so much. Come to class prepared for lots of hands on experience. Sharon, $25 Sat, August 18 or Mon, August 20 1-5pm.
