How it all Began...
Quilts by the Bay was opened 16 years ago by Patricia Stephenson. Patricia spent many years quilting for her family as well as for others which ignited in her a passion for quilting. With Patricia's love for quilting and love for people, it only made sense for her to combine the two and create Quilts by the Bay!
In August of 2007 her daughter, Sarah Beth, decided nothing could be better than working with her mom and joined the quilt shop family! It is their greatest desire to serve God in all they do especially through the quilt shop!
We believe that "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights"- James 1:17
The Lord has blessed us beyond belief and we are eternally thankful! |

We are well known for the large variety of quilt samples we have displayed in our shop along with beautiful fabric kits and patterns available for each of them.

Fabrics
We have over 6,000 bolts of absolutely stunning fabrics, including a huge selection of gorgeous hand dyed batiks, beautiful florals, Christmas fabrics, baby and cutesy fabrics and a great variety of all the newest collections.

We also have a wonderful variety of gifts including one of the largest collections anywhere of the ever popular Jim Shore figurines.

Shop Dog!
Along with SarahBeth came the addition of her sweet Boxer, Bella! Bella loves all the ladies at the shop and especially loves when customers come say hi and give her a yummy treat! She is still a puppy and hasn't quite grown out of her whiney stage...she LOVES attention and will whine until she gets it!
